Booker’s Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Batch 2026-01 “Big Easy Batch” is the first Booker’s release of 2026, named in tribute to Booker Noe’s affection for New Orleans. It’s aged 7 years, 2 months, 15 days and bottled uncut and unfiltered at 129.1 proof (64.55% ABV). The batch combines whiskey from five production dates and five Beam warehouses.

The breakdown is as follows:

16% was stored on the third floor of warehouse H, a nine-story house
24% was stored on the sixth floor of warehouse G, a nine-story house
16% was stored on the fifth floor of warehouse O, a seven-story house
22% was stored on the third floor of warehouse J, a nine-story house
22% was stored on the fourth floor of warehouse M, a seven-story house

In the glass, it’s classic Booker’s in scale—rich, powerful, and full-bodied—but with an especially fruit-driven character. The nose brings vanilla, baking spice, clove, red berries, and roasted nuts. The palate develops raisin, plum, chocolate-covered cherry, hazelnut, and brown sugar, backed by substantial oak and barrel-proof warmth. The finish is long and increasingly dry and spicy, showing toasted cinnamon, rye spice, leather, tannic oak, and a touch of citrus.

The “Big Easy” name comes from Booker Noe’s longstanding connection to New Orleans—he visited as a young man, honeymooned there with his wife, and returned repeatedly for the city’s food and culture. Fred Noe specifically recalls his father’s fondness for everything from oysters and jambalaya to Lucky Dog street-cart hot dogs.

In short: a muscular, high-proof Booker’s with an appealing combination of vanilla and confectionery sweetness, dark/red fruit, chocolate and nuts, followed by a spicy, oak-driven finish. It should particularly appeal to drinkers who like barrel-proof bourbon with plenty of intensity but more fruit than the stereotypical Beam peanut-forward profile.

Unless your delivery address is on the West Coast, we strongly discourage you from selecting “Ground Service” as your shipping method. During the winter and summer months, weather conditions (temperature) and longer delivery times can often result in the spoilage of your order. It doesn’t make sense to invest in fine wines and then take the chance of ruining them due environmental factors during transit (faster and safer delivery generally isn’t much more expensive). We don’t make an additional profit on accelerated delivery, but we frequently recommend faster shipping options to our customers outside the West Coast.
You must be 21 years of age to order or receive alcoholic beverages. Any shipments containing alcoholic beverages are sent with an “Adult Signature Required” sticker, and the common carrier that delivers our merchandise is required to ask and check for identification upon delivery. This means that an adult will have to be present at the time of delivery. Please consider shipping to an office address.
During periods of extreme weather, we attempt to ship wines at the beginning of each week in order to get shipments to you before the weekend. This is because we have no control over the temperature conditions at our freight carriers’ warehouses. The result may be that your shipment doesn’t go out the day that you place an order.
We ship by Fedex or Fedex Ground. Our prices include packaging materials. Insurance may be available for an additional charge.
