Sourced from a west-facing plot in the village of Ville-sur-Arce and grown on Portlandian limestone and Kimmeridgian clay-limestone soils, this zero-dosage, low-intervention sparkling wine delivers a beautifully precise, terroir-driven profile. A striking pale straw-gold hue accented by soft green reflections. A delicate, highly persistent, and vibrant mousse featuring exceptionally fine bubbles.

Aroma: Intensely aromatic, fresh, and slightly evolved with a subtle, elegant touch of oxidation. Bright aromas of white orchard fruits, fresh grapes, green apple, crisp apple blossom, and lime blossom. Deepened by undertones of toasted hazelnut, flint, fresh pastry, beeswax, and a distinct chalky, saline lift.

Palate & Finish: the palate matches a generous, round, and textured breadth (enhanced by the plot’s westerly sun exposure) with pulsating energy, precise acidity, and a silky, taut framework. It features focused flavors of citrus, green apple, and white-fleshed fruits. Uncompromisingly dry and starkly clean due to the zero-dosage style (Brut Nature), showcasing a strong, driving limestone and chalky minerality. A long, structured, and saline finish marked by persistent limestone tension and immaculate fruit purity.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0044/7165/2425/files/ClandestinChampagneLesPassagersHautdeValBarmont.png?v=1791559441
https://www.vintagewinemerchants.com/products/2023-clandestin-champagne-brut-nature-les-passagers-haut-de-val-barmont
