Non-traditional 600 liter barrels and intentionally low battonage, results in a clear expression of terroir and a study in mineral-driven Chardonnay of the region. This wine pairs beautifully with shellfish or a mild, soft cheese.
The 2020 Bourgogne Chardonnay offers up aromas of pear, crisp green apple, freshly baked bread and oatmeal, followed by a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and precise palate, concluding with a chalky finish. As usual, it derives from four parcels—in the communes Meursault, Saint-Aubin, Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet—in the Côte de Beaune. - Wine Advocate
